Government
In Posus, there were two central leaders (kings) with limited power. The kings were backed up by a group of 150 elected officials. Citizens voted every two years. When a decision presented itself, the assembly of officials took a majority vote. The citizens vote on their military officials who then went on to make all of the important war-related decisions. The central leaders job was to be a public figure to the people of Posus. They also decided any ties rhat occured during assemblies, while also bring order to the council of elected officials and ran their assemblings. Posus decid to have this type of government because it best took the strong parts of other goverments and made a combination of them. The posian founderstook the twoo kings from sparta's government because haveing one or two central leaders help stop chaotic voting assemblies, and gives someone with an overall power to break ties. This central leader could not have full power becasue putting all decisions into one person's hands can create a bias. The founders of Posus also greed with Athens democracy and wanted to have regular people vote. This createa=s different points of view about decisions. When the posian government was founded the people decided instead of every one voting on everythng, elected officails would have been and they would have voted on everyday decisons. All social classes had offials in the asembly, so their givernment was not an aristicrocy.
